This piece is one of my most aggressive to date with so many components that pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible. Each metal component is sterling silver, accented with wire wrapped pearl beads, herkimers, gemmy garnet, lepidolite and citrine, and finished with a gemmy lepidolite cab and Mozambique rose quartz cabochon. On the choker part itself there are several sterling silver castings such as octopus tentacles, seahorses, starfish, and rose to bring the ocean energy into this piece for a soft and elegant venus vibe look. The choker consists of 10 gage sterling silver wire that has been anealed enough to hold its shape but still has some bend to it for the wearer to crimp and pull where they see fit for their own aesthetic. Let me answer some questions that are bound to come up:
Is it comfortable? Yes! I took extra care with so many components to make sure nothing would poke the wearer. While the castings do have natural rough edges, the only time you would feel them is to look down where your chin may meet some of the metal.
Is it heavy? While this piece is obviously made with various components I don't consider it heavy. Because the bulk of the weight is front foward, it rests comfortably on the back of the neck.
How do I put it on? Simply slip it around your neck from the open spot. From there you can adjust as you see fit for your aesthetic.

You will also notice upon arrival that the choker portion is not a perfect circle. This is because it is meant to fit you how you would like and has give. It is not "bent" but meant to be shapen to really make it yours!
