Have you ever wanted to learn how to flow through the cards with ease instead of flipping through books to decipher what lies in front of you? Or gain confidence in being able to know what the cards mean by trusting your own intuition without memorizing long paragraphs? This class is designed for accomplishing just that with an easy introduction to the cards and brief history as we bring in the story of The Fool traveling through The World, discussing elements that surround the Major and Minor Arcana, and bring in basic numerology and keywords to lay the groundwork to building confidence around your own reading.
This class is designed for beginners and no previous understanding or study is needed to participate. This will follow key symbolism and understanding of the most used tarot deck, The Ryder Waite Smith with homage to Pamela Coleman Smith during the class.
This class begins promptly at 6:00 and is designed to be 90 minutes long ending around 7:30. Please arrive between 5:45-6:00 so we can get settled and begin. After the class you will have time to look and shop at The Enchanted Altar at your leisure, or stay for an additional 15 minutes to ask the burning tarot questions you may have.
This class is hands on, and we will not only having open discussion, but practice tarot layouts and grouping up to do mini sessions that I will guide everyone through.

A brief introduction to xtwii:
What started as just a basic curiosity at eleven years old bloomed into a true practice in my teen and young adult life. Originally tarot was something that I only offered to friends and family, but eventually those same friends and family began telling others about my readings which lead to a rapid leap into divination that incorporated itself naturally and fluidly. Professionally speaking, I have been reading cards for clients for over a decade now and been the resident tarot reader at The Enchanted Altar for two years. My reading and teaching style is filled with empathy and deep understanding of validation in people's most vulnerable questions and periods of their life offering not just support but deep communication. Tarot is something I don't think needs to be mastered, as it continues to evolve with modern times and new knowledge and wisdom continues to unfold. When asked about my own credentials I simply smile and say "The thousands of lives I've lived before this one, and the life I live now." I try my best to remain approachable and welcome curiosity whether it's from the tarot reading and understanding itself, or my own knowledge I have gained through experience. My reading and teaching style is very much based around story telling and bringing that story to life through realized experience and phases of life.
