Crossing Journeys: Death

The Death Card symbolizes Transformations and new beginnings.  The phoenix rising from the ashes, rebirth, and the reminder that the past is behind us but the future is ahead.  It is the shedding of the skin, and the destruction of the old but knowing through destruction comes new life.  It reminds us to construct new pathways and ditch the old ones that are no longer serving us.

Each of the cards featured in these heartfelt creations has been designed by tattoo artist @z.n.ink and we are thankful for his contribution to make these extra special.  The cards are engraved on mirror-esque acrylic for a spiritual portal effect.

This piece has been crafted out of an antler shed and features various components from both artists such as a bottle with snake skin and herbs that has been carefully wrapped in hemp, feathers, snake imagery, and an electroformed faceted quartz.  This piece also comes with the added feature of having a detachable copper snake necklace that features vera cruz amethyst and garnet with micro quartz and comes on a 16" antiqued copper chain.

Crossing Journeys is a collaborative collection between xtwii and auragon that is symbolic of their paths and support together in friendship.  With so many phases of life, it can be heartwarming to find that person who can and is willing to face it with you.  Each card selected is one of the phases we have both faced together and separately, remembering that at the end of the day we have each other's backs and can lean on one another when needed.  We hope that these pieces give you the sense of comfort that you are never truly alone.

All copper pieces are sealed with protecta clear to keep the patina and shine.  However over time you may notice the copper begin to darken.  It can always be reshined with a gentle brass brush, or even a tooth brush with lemon juice and a small amount of baking soda if it gets too dark for your liking.
